On May 11, 2010 the delegation from a sister-city Kyrdzhali (Bulgaria) headed by Mr. Asen Turdiev – Deputy Governor of the city of Kyrdzhali visited the Vladimir State University. He was accompanied by Mrs. Elisaveta Keikhanova, vice-mayor of the city of Kyrdzhali and Mrs. Khristina Mitova, deputy director of school of Kyrdzhali.
During the meeting with University government V.A. Nemontov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs made detailed presentation about the Vladimir State University. The problems relating to possible cooperation in science and education areas were discussed at the meeting. The firm desire to sign a Cooperation Agreement in the areas of high technologies and tourism providing wide opportunities for academic mobility and research was stipulated.
At the end of their stay the members of the delegation visited the University church of Saints Cyril and Mefody and met its senior priest Sergey (Minin).
