The Vladimir State University named after Alexander and Nikolay Stoletovs arranges courses for foreigners of all levels whether you are a beginner or even a teacher of Russian. There are various courses offered, ranging from 1 week to 10 months in length. The course ensures extensive development of skills within the areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing. It concentrates on various aspects of the language such as grammar, vocabulary building, syntax, phonetics, Russian literature and for teachers of Russian methods of teaching Russian is an optional component. Programs of study are designed to meet individual needs. All classes are conducted by highly qualified teachers. Russian background studies are complemented by excursions to Moscow, St. Petersburg and the towns of the Golden Ring of Russia (Suzdal, Rostov Velikiy, Yaroslavl, Sergeyev Posad etc.).
Tuition fees depend on a study program and the number of students in a group.
The University provides visa support. Application documents can be sent by e-mail or by fax.
The University can organize the transfer from Moscow airports or railway stations to Vladimir and back.
Foreign students are accommodated at the university dormitories.
Accommodation with a Russian family can be arranged. The cost includes rent and two meals (breakfast and supper).

The Vladimir State University named after and Nikolay Stoletovs is located in the ancient Russian city of Vladimir, which is 180 kilometres from Moscow. It’s one of the biggest institutions of higher education in the center of Russia. It was founded in 1958. Over 43 thousand specialists have been trained at the University. Since 1978 the University has been training specialists for foreign countries. The University graduates work in 36 countries.
